You push away on one piece and pull towards you on the other and they slide apart. The pieces are magnetic so they hold together and don't slide apart unless you push them apart. I haven't removed the extra piece but presume you do the same and slide the metal pieces apart to disengage and remove. **Q: There's "Colour Name: B. 19-22cm" and "Size Name: Small 18-20cm", which one is correct ? And yes i onow they adjustable but still.. thx** A: B is the bigger size 19-22cm and small is the 18 - 20cm.
