Straight from the box they are very sharp but i expect little bit sharper ! About balance - i read somewhere they are very balanced but in reality they are not so balanced - yes they have good balance but not great ! Knife holder from inside is very dirty all knives comes out white from dust and no idea i can wash it with water or not because i don't want damage it or paint ! Overall look is very impressive and they are strong don't need worry about breaking knive when you cut something ! About price for 12 knife set 600 pounds is a little bit too much if you look on all minuses what i call i think max price need be 500 !
