They are much larger, heavier, and all-around more substantial than I imagined. The wing plumage is striking, and the birds, log--and even the seashell--are beautifully detailed.My one issue? On my figurine, the shell was attached perpendicular, not parallel, to the log. And head-on, the shell looks much less impressive. It HAS to be attached parallel to the log, as pictured, to achieve the proper effect.So my suggestion? Contact the seller when you buy, and ask him to make sure that on your figurine the shell is sitting the proper direction.
