Manufactured from High Speed steel, the tools will give great results and have a longer tool life, whilst the bright finish ensures work piece material will not stick to the cutting edge of the tool, so giving you a cleaner, more accurate finish. The E100 taps are available in a very wide range of sizes from M1.6 to M52, either as a single tapered tap or as a set of three separate taps (serial taps) which you should use one after the other to create the same thread, with each tap creating a slightly more accurate thread with a slightly less tapered bottom to the hole.
