I don’t know if there’s any rust inside, but the inside of it has different stains, but I think this is due to manufacturing. There is no leaking. The doorbell is good and the quality is good and the fit is good. I would buy again. I just wish that there was a different design than all these funny designs with a little hat on top but overall he gets the job done and it doesn’t look obtrusive. A good buy, little pricey. durability is good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixes the problem I had with garburator waste backing up into dishwasher. *by on Reviewed in Canada 23 July 2024* Our dishwasher was improperly installed without an air gap (not required by code in Canada) and the dishwasher waste was connected directly to the garburator. When the garburator sink filled water would back up into the dishwasher and since we never use the dishwasher the waste water would sit and fester and begin to stink. I thought it was the dog who usually sits in front of the dishwasher and admittedly does stink but no it was this waste water. I installed this air gap under the counter so that it is higher than the level that the garburator sink fills to and the problem has been fixed. ### ⭐ Leaked badly with new Bosch Dishwasher *by on Reviewed in Canada 9 July 2025* Had a plumber install this at the same time as my new Bosch Dishwasher.
