I've been cutting and styling my hair for a few years now and my friends know me as that guy with anime hair. My normal go to is Gatsby and Sparks hair dye. I wanted to give my hair a break from bleaching so I tried this. For one, this will hold your hair almost as well as Gatsby. It's not hair wax so if you use too much it'll harden. Secondly, your hair will be streaked with silver. The color consistency will largely depend on your hair color, thickness, and density. I already have pale brown hair (like coffee with a lot of milk) with densely packed thin follicles so my hair looked great because of the density and color. I'd say my hair looked 60% silver and 40% brown in the areas that were streaked with this gel.A lot of people talk about the smell. Yes, it does smell. I haven't found any hair product that doesn't. If this bothers you, you could try putting it on at night. The smell fades out after a few hours. I don't wash my hair very often and it holds for days so putting it on at night is a viable option for short hair.I wouldn't recommend this with longer hair unless you're only looking to color the tips or a small portion. ### ⭐⭐ It washes out in one wash, but looks terrible and you will want to wash it out before you leave the house! *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2018* I have shorter hair, not as short as a man's haircut, but still shorter than my ears, and this looked terrible in my hair. I think the ONLY hair it would look good on, would be a short cut that is no longer than 2 inches, or long hair that you just want to do a stripe of color for. On the plus side, I layered A LOT of product on my hair and it still didn't really feel as if I had anything in my hair, so it was very light, but because I have hair that has to be styled, it looked terrible. If you can style your hair with a ton of putty like goop in your hair, than you should be ok. your hair won't look dyed, it will just look like you have streaky paint in your hair. Trying to comb/brush it made it look 10 times worse. I feel you need to have a very specific haircut for this to look good. Gave it 2 stars because it DOES wash out in 1 wash and is very light feeling on your hair.
