However, some online blogs have claimed that this 16GB high-quality Kingston server RAM matched pair would work fine on the HP gen7 microservers.Sure enough, it runs fine on my N54L microserver, multiple passes of memtest86+ with no errors! I'm moving forward on my NAS project, and best of all this RAM was reasonably priced, at only about a 50% premium over non-ECC non-server RAM. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works with SuperMicro X9SCM-F *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2014* I bought a used SuperMicro server that had this model of RAM, but 8GB (2x4GB). I was looking to increase it. Based on my research online, this (and other SuperMicro motherboards) are quite picky on the kind of RAM you put in them, and how you mix them. Even though the models match, I was nervous that combining 2x4GB and 2x8GB would cause a problem. It works fine. Just be sure you put the larger sticks in the lower numbered slot for each channel.
