I am hoping this happened due to a hot day and that my package was supposedly out all day in a truck. Product photo alleges a "dry" looking product, but the nature of the item is blossoms soaked in vinegar and salted. Will re -evaluate and give proper stars after testing product because Amazon demands stars before posting. Update: product tastes fine cooks like recipe calls for, the look of the product after soaking was fine. Scent of cherry blossom is lovely. Will order again, maybe in cooler months now knowing what to expect.
