Despite what the images show of the product, it also didn't lift my roots at all. I've been doing my own hair for 20 years and have never had a box die do me this dirty. I went over it with a high lift loreal brown and it turned out beautifully. I did have to trim a few inches off my hair in between dyes to compensate for the first box's damage. Luckily my hair looks much better now, and I had the inches to spare. Never buying one of these dyes again though. Also, there was barely enough die for my whole head and my hair wasn't super long to begin with.
