Well idont agree because i think the high mode is only slightly lower than the turbo mode so dont let that stop you from buying this light.I dont have a lumens reader but my best guess in high mode with a charged battery your getting 800 lumens so take what i say for what its worth buy this light and give it a go.You wont be unhappy for a light less than 20 bucks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent torch with no exaggerated claims *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 24, 2017* Excellent! This flashlight is well made and works as expected. The lumens are not exaggerated like other brands that claim ridiculous numbers. I've compared this torch with one that claimed to be 8000 lumens and the Xplorer Pro at 589 lumens on high beam was brighter. The Xplorer Pro uses the XML2-U3 CREE CHIP which claims to be able to generate 30% more lumens than the XM-L T6 chip. I usually go with single mode flashlights because many are too easy to slip into strobe mode when turning the light on but this 7-mode light has been a pleasant surprise in that I've not accidently turned on strobe mode yet. the other modes are defensive mode, SOS, low, (for conserving battery when brightness isn't needed) medium, high and turbo mode, which is a short term super bright light producing almost 1000 lumens.The light came in a nice box with magnetic latch to store the accessories which include; The Flashlight, 2-18650 Lithium-ion batteries with protected circuit rated at 2600 mAh each, Dual Battery Wall Mount Charger, AAA battery Holder, Battery Sleeve, Custom Flashlight Holster and a Bag with extra O-rings.All in all a very good buy in my oponion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional, versatile, stout flashlight *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 7, 2016* Finally, I have a great flashlight in my life. We had a power failure recently and as I sifted in the dark through a drawer full of too-big too-heavy crappy flashlights with near-dead batteries and a single option for a beam, I said "No more." Now, in a single flashlight, all my problems and prayers are answered. This little baby is unbelievably powerful, yet provides you multiple options for brightness AND size of beam, which is as fabulous as it is functional. (You can have a nice wide spread of light, OR shoot a veritable laser-beam of bright light hundreds of feet.) If you need a little quick blast of added intensity, the TURBO feature is available. Also, I have little doubt that the self-defense strobe would, if ever needed, be a very valuable and welcome feature; it's BLINDING. Some of the accessories bear mentioning: the holster is very well designed and made. Getting two Lithium-ion batteries is wonderful, as the flashlight only requires one, so you can always have the other fully charged at the ready. Even the storage box the flashlight and accessories came in is notably well-made and convenient.
