Review: Another Great Product From An Innovative Company - I have been a longtime user of Insta360 cameras from the days of the original ONE X. I bought the ONE RS to complement my ONE R as I sometimes like to shoot with multiple cameras. The improvements they have made to the RS are a welcome addition to an already excellent camera - improved battery life, improved audio (3 mics now instead of 2), improved mounting case. You can look on the Insta360 website (or any of the comparison videos on YouTube) to see what the upgraded processor brings (basically faster wifi, improved flow-state stabilization, digital zoom) but I am having most fun with the new boosted 4K lens. This now provides 48MP images (compared to 12MP of the R), Active HDR mode and 6K Widescreen mode. I recently used the 6K Widescreen mode to film a classic car rally. This meant I could get a beautiful wide (2.35:1) video of the cars racing around a corner and then capture a static shot of the car in the perfect angle I wanted. Most importantly, I didn’t have to pan the camera for the video or try and time my still shot, instead I could just enjoy the action with my own eyes while the camera did all the work. Attached are an image and a video of one of the cars. Having both the ONE R and RS and at least one of each of the 4k, 360 and 1” Leica modules I now have the perfect modular system where I can swap lens modules, bases and batteries as per the requirements of the shoot. Heartily recommended!
Review: Good 360 and action camera - I've found this a very good replacement for my old 360 camera and GoPro. Mostly because it doesn't compromise when you want to use it for one or other of the uses: it has interchangable lenses for 360-degree and normal wide angle shots. It has a good smartphone app too, which I find easier to use than ones from other manufacturers in the pat. Reframing 360 videos for example, in the app, to point at what I'm wanting to keep in front, is actually very easy, and the HDR image quality is amazing!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I already have a one r, will the mods still be compatible with the one rs?**
A: Yes, it's all backwards compatible. Except the one r cage when you attach a one rs battery as its slightly bigger in size.

**Q: Can i use it on jet ski ?**
A: I don't see why not. It is supposed to be waterproof. Just make sure you secure it firmly. They don't work too well on the seabed!

**Q: Playstore reviews saying the app always crashes, can i use this camera without the app and just insert sd card to desktop windows get content?**
A: I was also sceptical about the app because of them reviews but took the plunge to buy the insta360 anyways thinking I can always just fall back onto the pc client (not my preferred option of editting as I like to do everything on mobile). However, I can say that since owning the insta360 since about 3 weeks ago, the app has functioned flawlessly and I have not experienced any crashing or faults as mentioned in the reviews. I am using a Samsung galaxy S22 phone . I have not touched the pc client at all since the phone app can do everything and it's just easier to connect to the camera via WiFi from phone.

**Q: I am considering getting either a one rs or gopro hero 10. how does one rs compare with gopro?**
A: Get the One RS instead of Gopro 10. One RS is more flexible because you can shoot both using the 4K lens which is very good and competes or even is better than the gopro 10 one and also you can do capture 360 footages which is where the creativity is at! The only time I would go with gopro 10 is if you thay gopro let's you upload footage to the cloud so you can store it that way. If you don't mind spending on sd cards and take time transferring clips manually to external hard drives to store then go insta360.

I've found this a very good replacement for my old 360 camera and GoPro. ### ⭐ Second one I’ve had second one returned

Was so excited to get this camera for my motorcycle. Order the first one from Insta360’s website. Wouldn’t connect to phone, Wi-Fi signal wasn’t being transmitted from the camera, they said there was an issue with the core of the camera and send it back. Ordered another one from Amazon and had the EXACT same issue, won’t connect, won’t work. Pretty poor firmware quality and it’s just frustrating to be honest. Customer service in the insta360 website is useless.
