The older version is a single track of hair with a "halo" of clear elastic and no replacement elastic. I liked the older version. I still have it and it still looks good after 2 years of occasional use. Now that being said, I have to say, I don't know if this is an authentic Secret Extension product. Mine came with no identifying packaging. It was in a clear wrapper with a blank cardboard backer. It is a double track of hair with a clear halo and two replacement halos one slightly longer and one slightly shorter. The quality of this one seems on par with my older one. A few helpful suggestions for anyone using synthetic hairpieces for the first time: do not brush synthetic hair pieces unless they look scraggly (think once or twice a week) and use your fingers to finger brush them, use a broad tooth comb or a tangle free brush. Wash once a month with baby shampoo or woolite, gently towel dry and leave overnight to air dry. Avoid getting hairspray on synthetic extensions if you can, it makes them look frizzy. Once you straighten an extension good luck getting it to curl again. The main reason I bought another extension is because I straightened the first one I got and I wanted another with the curl at the end. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LOVE!!! Secret Extensions are a MUST! *by N***M on September 8, 2017* I have always admired women with long thick hair but have never been able to have it because my hair is so thin. I have tried so many different types of extensions without any luck. They were either to heavy causing headaches or to difficult to clip in that they looked ridiculous.That is not the case with Secret Extensions!!! It is the most natural and comfortable solution to long, flowing and gorgeous hair! As soon as they arrived, I tried it on- and had NO problem making it look perfect. I walked into my daughter's room and flipped my head around to show off my fabulous hair! She was amazed and is now begging me to get her one also! I highly recommend Secret Extensions to all women! The price point is affordable, the quality is amazing (and they include replacement bands which is a bonus).Thank you so much for helping women like me get the glam look I have always wanted!!! ### ⭐ Horrible color *by T***R on July 7, 2017* The color does not match my hair at all. It looks "green" up against my brownish/red hair. I do not know if these can be colored with hair dye or not! Love the extra fullness it gave and the band seemed to be okay.
