Each bulb was in its own individual box and when I opened the first bulb box, I was surprised that the bulb was housed in a somewhat rigid plastic case inside its box. The 4-bulb boxes were yet packed in another small box, they came very well packaged. Caution: the bulbs are much bigger than your average bulb, see photo (a) average, b) the 4500K (Fadimikoo) and c) the 6000K (Vintage Edison) even larger than the 4500K b). If you are trying to use them in recessed lights they will NOT work due to the restricted space. We intend to use then on outside lighting. They cast a soft retro light with a hint of yellow rather than white bright light of the 6000K or c). We are not going to use them with dimmers, so really can’t tell how they would work. We have had them in our outside patio since 3-days ago. If I can I will review later on how long the bulbs last.
