### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm happy, the crows and wild parrots are not! We'll finally have persimmons this season.
*by W***A on September 19, 2024*

While we love fresh persimmons, we never seem to be able to harvest any as the crows seem to know exactly when to begin harvesting for themselves and the pesky wild parrots in our area don't seem to care if they're ripe or not, they'll simply devour them once they reach a decent size. This year, however, we netted the tree and relocated the invasive red squirrels in around our house, so should be able to finally have a decent harvest this year. This net is very nice, albeit not extremely thick or heavy. I'm sure the parrots would easily chomp through it, but so far, they're avoiding it in fear of becoming tangled. This is a nice product and should work perfect for our requirements. When it comes time to remove, I'll have to be very careful so we can use this next season but I believe the netting will be strong enough. For the application of the netting, I will be constructing a large U-shaped pole configeration using PVC pipe and also build a rounded, domed aluminum dish on a pole to help lift and move the net.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Good value and well packaged
*by J***G on June 17, 2024*

I thought about making it a 4 star review because of the thinness of the nets, but in most applications not directly on berry bushes but these nets do their job and are a 5 star value compared to similar weaker nonwoven plastic nets. This is strong (but thin) woven nylon netting. The netting was well packaged with a cloth bag plus (10) plastic push stakes and a bag of plastic wire ties. (Neither of which I used). This netting is strong but also wire thin and not a good idea to put directly on berry bushes as it easily catches leaves, berries and branches. It's much better for an enclosure. I have an enclosure for my other berries, but for these two outlier bushes, I built standoff tees to keep nets right off the bushes, but I still stripped a couple of pounds of berries off the bushes installing. You get about 100% light transmission with these nets because of their thin weave, (which is not really neccessary for blueberries). I'm hoping they're cat proof too, for the errant bird that finds it s way under the nets. Cats easily rip up the cheap spun plastic nets going after trapped birds. I bury all edges and stake every few feet with 6" sod pins. Cat birds will charge the edges of the nets looking for a weak spot they can get under so better to cover exposed edges with soil or mulch, but this is a problem universal to all netting materials.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works, but be careful
*by S***H on July 1, 2024*

Works great, just really big. It gets tangled very easily, but it’s got red ribbon tied to the ends to make them easier to find. Netting is about 1” squares, so keeps all the birds in my area out. Would probably buy again. But keeping in mind the difficulties I had the first time, I’d be more prepared for tangles.
