We love to travel in car with her on long road trips. Having this saves us time and worry when stopping in hotels or when getting to destination. This will freeze and keep ice cream frozen solid. When we check in, no running around to find stores selling ice cream she'll eat at night, or wondering if a hotel room even has a freezer in mini fridges. That's all we needed. It's not huge and actually serves as a small table in car or van, woth carry case that has vents, does not over heat. I purchased the F40C4TMP Insulated Protective Cover for the Alpicool C9PT portable refrigerator. This refrigerator model does not have carry handles, so the insulated bag works as an insulator as well as a carry bag.The insulated bag is black with gray trim. The bag is well made with good workmanship and tight seams. The velcro used at the front pocket and at the flaps to hold the bag together is very strong. The velcro holds well and stays fastened until you losen it. The rear corner of the bag has a sturdy zipper for the ease of placing the refrigerator in the insulated bag. There are two mesh side panels for compressor ventilation and airflow.Access to the refrigerator's power cord input is accessible by opening the front velcro pocket. The power cord will drape from the pocket to your power source (AC outlet or 12/24-volt). The rear of the bag has a netted pocket that does not close.The rear and side velcro flaps need to be loosened so that you can access the refrigerator. There is a small clear panel on the top of the insulated bag that allows you to access the refrigerator's control panel. Two adjustable carrying straps can be affixed to each side of the bag. They are removable. The straps can be velcroed together for the ease of carrying the refrigerator.With the refrigerator in the insulated bag, the interior of the bag is cold to the touch. This test was performed indoors on an Autumn day.The bag is pricey but practical and functional.
