I needed a remote to turn on a tv from my parents whose remote couldn't be found. I ordered this on from amazon. After a couple tries paring the remote paried and does what I needed turning the tv on/off switching between fire tv and hd antenna tv. would recommend.

Works really well on my TV.

All the buttons work just fine and it is light. However, where the Directional buttons to move left, right, up, down or middle are arranged in poor area of the control; same with the button to turn on the light. It would have been better to have designed it better. Turning on the light to use at night is just below the off/on button for the TV. Many times the wrong button was pushed. As with the Directional buttons, there small and in area where it is too easy to hit the wrong buttons; plus, this area does not light up and in the dark to easy to miss. I had to get up and turn on a light in the room just to select the right buttons when watching, Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video.

All I had to do is point and click, and my streaming service was right there on my Samsung! Unfortunately, controlling the TV itself did not work by using this remote. I wish an instruction manual had been included. Nothing came but the remote. I did want it mainly for streaming, so all is ok and I have other remotes that control basic on, off, etc.

At first I was disappointed when I saw there was no owner's manual included. But, once I got my tv set-up, I was surprised, pleased and relieved to find that the remote was already synced. The only other issue is the number of buttons. Far too many across a large surface for small hands. Otherwise, a great purchase and value for the technologically challenged.

Truly thank you. Several years ago purchased a Samsung Smart TV model which came with the worst remote ever (that I know of). Couldn't believe Samsung created this remote and no alternative models existed at the time. Thankfully was able to rely on my tv provider remote but had to perform Smart TV functions with the small ones. Last year the remote fell apart and Samsung indicated another remote was now available for $70. Decided not to get it for now and put the idea aside and misplaced the info. Doing a search, came across this model for under $10 and has the features needed. Much appreciated.

The touch pad remote that came with my Samsung television is as worthless as wings on a pig. It makes navigating the screen and entering text near impossible.This remote is almost like the remote that you receive from your cable company or other electronic audiovisual equipment. This remote makes moving horizontally and vertically on the television very easy and the price was outstanding for what it does.If you have a "Smart" Samsung t.v. buy this remote and begin to enjoy navigating your smart apps.

Remote that came with the tv was horrible.. small pad that rarely worked. This remote easy to set up and use. Saved me.from throwing the tv out!
