It works well with my macbook so it should be ok with ipad. The only issue is the time setting. Mine is labelling the records with wrong dates and times. The quality of sound is excellent. **Q: When do you know when it is charged had it on for 3 hours and only recorded 48 minutes** A: Fully charged when goes to blue. Will only record if it hears a sound. Might have only been 48 mins of sound? This device needs an initial full charge of 3 hours. Also the files are Wave files, not a problem but you need to use the search to get the right software to open the audio files. Sound pickup is very good and plenty of time. Haven't downloaded from it yet but hopefully will be easy then I can erase and use again.
