Used a basic cotton fabric. The first thing I didn't like about the tape is that when you unwrap it, one of the sticky sides is already exposed...so I couldn't pre-cut pieces, I had to use it immediately. We put the adhesive on the fabric as preparation. When the activity started, and we went to peal the wax paper off to expose the opposite side of the adhesive, the adhesive also wanted to peal away from the fabric. It did not stay stuck on the fabric in place, and it started gumming up. It was not strong enough to keep fabric sealed together well.
