**Q: Will this work for new 3ds xl circle pad?**
A: No these will not, they are far too small. Sadly there isn't any kind of covers for the 3ds of any as far as I've ever seen. Just full replacements of the pad

These thumb stick grips are decent. No idea how they will fair in the long run, but so far they look like they will do their job. What is surprising however is their cost compared to their quantity, size, simplicity and lack of exceptional quality. I do not think they should cost more than $5.
