I am using it with an external 12V DC power supply in my garage and some old Bose 21 bookshelf speakers. For the size, it's incredible. The unit fits easily under my work bench and the high-level inputs provide a great variable volume level for the sub. The remote volume feature is great too, gives you control of the sub volume depending on content. Movies and music in the man cave really pop now! The only issue I have is the auto power on/off doesn't work but that's because my Technics receiver is sending a signal to it when off.
