Other tea strainers let small tea particles through (even Teavana!), but this strainer is perfection. I have tried 4 other types of strainers - see photos - and this one is beat only by Capital Teas personal tea bags (this strainer leaves the tiniest smoky residue at the bottom of the cup, and the tea bags don't). However, you can't reuse the tea bags, as they are single use. Therefore, I will stick with this strainer.
