Nice weight for good penetration even at a good distance. Managed to take out three groundhogs that have been raiding neighborhood gardens and devouring veggies as well as flowers. First groundhog hit just behind the shoulder- ran ten feet to fence and collapsed. Second one took two darts due to my bad aim. third one, one dart. In each case, darts went in about 80% of length. Two groundhogs left to go and they're so traumatized that a hissing sound sends them into a headlong panic. They've associated the sound of the blowgun with what happened to their furry little garden munching friends. A friend wanted the groundhogs to eat (YUK!!). He says they taste like beef. No thanks!!
