While I am greatly satisfied with the entire series in one collection, all the episodes from the Netflix series are NOT included unfortunately which was disappointing. I still gave it 5 stars because the episodes that are in this collection still flows into each other well and if you did not see the Netflix version, you would not know anything was missing. Also, the DVD collection has bonus stuff like the making of the series and interviews with actors and directors etc, which was a nice addition. But I wonder if I had purchased each season separately, if ALL the episodes would have been included that way? Review: Eventually this series will be recognized as classic and essential. Underappreciated gem. - This isn't the flashiest production, and at first glance it feels a bit weak in some respects. But the story and historical and mythological aspects are really quite compelling, and draw you in. The story of the birth of England with lots of historically accurate references and of course some creating license. I have watched it all the way through 2 or 3 times and I'll keep coming back to it every few years because it's fun, action oriented, historically educational.
