My husband tried to fix it but no luck. Our grandson was so disappointed... **Q: I lost the box. How does remote connect with fire truck?** A: Remove all batteries for 3 minutes. Then, follow in this order exactly, to pair the Paw Patrol truck and controller correctly: 1. Put 4 NEW AA alkaline batteries in the truck. Keep the power switch OFF. 2. Put a NEW 9-volt alkaline battery in the controller. 3. Check to make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. 4. Make sure all other RC toys in the room are turned OFF if you have more than one. 5. Turn on the Paw Patrol RC and keep the truck upside down on your lap. 6. Press the #4 button on the controller for 3 seconds. 7. The toy is now paired and ready to go. 8. If it still does not work, turn off the truck and take out 1 AA battery for 10 seconds, put the battery back in, turn on the truck and press the #4 button. Please note just like any Bluetooth device, sometimes it takes several times to pair. **Q: Are there more than one frequency so that 2 can be used at the same time?** A: We have two and they do NOT work well together.
