My hot tub cover was 78x78 and this 76x76 cap fit perfectly and I do mean perfectly. The hot tub now looks amazing and I simply do not remove the cap when using the hot tub so no one can tell about my damaged cover. Time will tell if the cap holds up, but I see no real issues here. Eventually I will get a new top, but I now see that I will continue to use this cover so that if my dogs jump up again they will not damage the $400 cover but the $60 cap.
