Review: Happy So Far,, BUY Silicone b4 Placing Deterrents :) - We have several pillars on our front porch that Birds luv building nests! We are continuing to get the ladder out & taking down nests & moving to the tree next to our porch. We wouldn't mind, BUT birds make "messes" on our porch where we like to sit & keep clean. SO FAR, these discs have stopped the birds from making the nests. I have not yet got a picture of the birds flying away from these deterrents as yet but will attach pictures once I do. About the product: it seems a little expensive, but if it works, I'm happy!!! The product box says what you'll need. We THOUGHT there would be silicone in the product box, BUT THERE IS NOT. I even dumped everything out of the box to confirm :(
Review: They DO work! - For the last several years we have had a large influx of barn swallows. We actually love the birds, but hate their droppings. We had our columns repainted and did not want them messed up again. I searched for something that would deter them and found these. Yes, they are a bit pricey when you do not know if they will actually work or not. Well, they DID work for us. The swallows are still around, but are not nesting on the tops of our 39 columns. They have been up for over a month and we have had fabulous results.

We have several pillars on our front porch that Birds luv building nests! We are continuing to get the ladder out & taking down nests & moving to the tree next to our porch. We wouldn't mind, BUT birds make "messes" on our porch where we like to sit & keep clean. SO FAR, these discs have stopped the birds from making the nests. If you have easy access to your roof - you may have success with this product. Placing the discs on foundations on ground level have proven to be unfruitful or not productive. Product does not appear to deter birds landing nearby. A few discs were placed on rooftop does not appear to deter birds from landing nearby.
