The plates were securely in place with heavy dense foam and securely taped. Cons - There are some small “burs” on the outside edges that I had to file down (2).. If you’re wearing gloves, you likely won’t notice. - Slightly heavier than 25 pounds each. On my digital scale they came in at 25.57 pounds. Not major. Common sense dictates that if you drop these on concrete, they’re going to scratch and chip away at the coating.
