It looks to be larger than 1/2 the width but I’d rather know for sure.** A: It is about 1/2. That made it easier to get stuff in it. I put alot of stuff inside including a metal shelf. I still have room to move inside. Best choice i made **Q: Thre are no predrilled holes on the shed, US 3 side, what do we need to do? It is the top support bar.** A: I spent quite a while figuring this out. The grooves on the wider face of the US3 pieces need to face the outside of the shed and the groove on the narrow face of the part faces up. This isn't clear in the manual. The screws that attach the top of the wall panels go into the groove in US3 and the screws to secure the roof panels go in the groove on top of US3. The screws will cut their way into those grooves pretty easily. For those screws I set my cordless drill (Porter Cable 20V) to seven on the torque clutch. For screws into sheet metal I used a setting of three. Don't do final tightening until all screws for a panel are in place and piece is aligned. I also drilled out the holes for the hinge screws into the shed to 1/8". The holes in the doors were okay. **Q: I bought the 4x6 one, a single box arrived without instructions and without screws, should it be like this?** A: Of coarse it shouldn't. I would either contact the company directly to see if they would send u some ,if u don't wanna go threw the hassle of sending the whole box back through Amazon. I needed a place outside of my garage for my wife's gardening and patio stuff. This fit the need perfectly. The assembly instructions could use some work because some of the parts/panels are very similar to each other, but the little screw holes don't match up if you get it wrong. It's easy to fix during the build process but that cost me some time. 3-4 hours is about right for assembly time for one person. I hoped to do it in half that time but it didn't play out that way. Once it's fully constructed it's a solid shed that looks nice and makes my wife happy. Go for it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great shed for the money but not perfect. *by on Reviewed in the United States January 15, 2026* I was really debating whether to give this 3 or 4 stars, but here's my experience with it. First of all, it's not actually 5 feet by 3 feet. The description does mention this but I was still surprised to find how small it was once I started building it. It's actually about ½a foot smaller in each direction. I found it fairly easy and straightforward to assemble but as an auto mechanic I'm pretty good at figuring things out by looking at them. I agree with some of the other reviews that the assembly instructions are vague and somewhat unclear. It wasn't too hard for me to figure out what goes where but I could see how it could be difficult for those who aren't as inclined to building things without clear instructions. Overall I am happy with it even though it only fits one of the 2 shelf units I had intended to put in it. Be sure to assemble it on a VERY flat surface! My yard is mostly a steep hill. I dug an area out of the hillside for it and put down wood as a base but I had a hard time lining up the roof panels because the ground wasn't as flat as it needed. I ended up drilling new mounting holes to install the rear section of the roof panels to make up for the uneven ground. The biggest problem I noticed after it was assembled was when the first rain came and it leaked water inside from the rear section of the roof panels down the back wall, but I don't know that this is a defect in the design of the shed as much as the trouble I had lining up roof panels due to the uneven topography and the fact that I built it with the back of the shed against a cut-out hillside which greatly hindered access to the back of the shed during assembly. I also found that the door latch didn't line up perfectly when closing the door but, again, I think this had more to do with the uneven surface rather than the shed itself. In a nutshell, I would say that this is a good solid shed at a great price. If you have a very flat yard it should go together well but if you need to grade things I would suggest making sure it is very level before assembling it and I would also recommend a very solid flat foundation for it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice shed. It would have been even less time except he added a wood floor base. He said it went together quite easily. I have it on my porch for easy access since I'm 74 yrs old. It keeps out the rain and critters from things I need to store.
