These reusable cloths had downsides of costing a few dollars apiece, not cleaning as well without fluid (which was a pain to carry) and having the potential to smear existing gook around or scratch lenses if using them dry. Then most places stopped carrying them and I had to come up with a new way to clean my two pairs of glasses a total of several times a day. I tried the big Z's brand a few times and they were okay, but not always easy to find . I have purchased the large boxes of Caretouch several times over the past two years and am very happy with them. They are packaged well, so I haven't had problems with them drying out. They seem to have about the right amount of fluid to clean one or two pairs of glasses (if you move quickly for the second pair). I frequently clean my glasses, then hand the towelette to my wife to clean hers, which is pretty economical. I keep a dozen or so in the console of my car and use them on my glasses, cell phone, infotainment display and other interior spots. At home I use them on my laptop screen and keyboard, watch face, and tablet screen. Of course, they are a godsend for camera gear, as well. I generally avoid off-brand products for items like alcohol squares, because corners are cut by the manufacturer, leaving you with packages of dry cloths to throw away. These are packed well. I regularly throw a few of these loose in my pants pocket before heading out of the house and they are ready when needed. I also keep some on my nightstand and in the armrest of my couch. I can count on them to still be moist for several days. Similarly, the dozen or so for my car are kept in a zip-lock bag that I am not that careful to close.
