I don't have issues with white cast but I can't say if those with more melanin would be okay. It is a chemical sunscreen so you need to wait 15 minutes to go out in the sun to stay protected. And that is the reason I don't use it on my face. I prefer physical blockers on my face since my facial skin is kind of sensitive. And physical blockers don't sting my eyes. No issues with the pump. When it gets low I store it upside down. When you can't scrape anymore out that way grab a utility knife & cut that sucker open to get every last drop! You will get a few days more out of it.
