My last hat literally fell apart after only two years of use. I started researching hats and a lot of people were referring to Tilley hats. The price initially caught me offguard but the more I read about them...I decided I would go ahead and try one. I couldn't be more pleased with a hat.I mostly wear hats to fish, to walk, work in the yard, and any time i'll be exposed to the sun. This hat works wonderfully for all of those things.A word of caution: Like most have said, measure using the Tilley chart and go with the next size up. According to their chart I was a 7 but the hat I ordered was too small so I had to send it back and get a 7 1/8. The 7 1/8 fit perfectly.
