And unless you use the bluetooth to connect your phone to it and use Waze, the manufacturers recommended GPS software is a pay-to-use app... So there's that little tidbit of BS. I'd avoid it if I were you. I bought this for a friend of the family who "doesn't know how to use the GPS on my phone"... And I think I should have just taught him how to use it instead of buying this. Doesn't sync with satellites well enough to stay current with your location while driving a programmed route, so you get the instructions to "Turn right" about 45-60 seconds after you have passed the turn.Now the screen keeps going blank (black) while in use.
