This book did that, kinda. It's very much a workbook, of wonderful art by the author, and the projects go from easy to more difficult. I've finished all but two, and there is more "free-styling" in the later ones. It's a lot of fun, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys detail work and color. I do agree with another reviewer that the paper included with the patterns are not quite as bright and textured as those used in the "finished" photos. That makes sense in terms of production, but it results in finished products that aren't quite as exciting as one would like. It's still worth the doing, in my opinion. Two tips: cut outside the lines; you can always trim tiny amounts off later, though I found that layering paper pieces often works fine; and when working with a glue stick (which is better than a wet glue), be careful, as it's easy to get the front side of the pieces sticky. ### ⭐⭐ A beautifully packaged product and a wonderful concept that yeilds a poor finished result *by A***I on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2017* The book/kit was beautifully packaged. Sadly the printed papers included were without texture and the colors very flat. The image on the front of the book is bright and enticing but many other included mosiacs contained dark and muddy colors (especially the green tones). The mosaic sheets are cleverly colored on one side and contain numbered outlines on the other, although I did run into several pieces that when cut out included printing on the colored side which showed through on the finished mosaic. Additionally, cutting out the mosiac peices directly on the lines will yield a poor finished result - the background sheets contain black lines matching the corresponding pieces exactly. You will need to cut beyond the lines on the mosaic pieces to hide the guide lines on the background sheet. Even with doing this the result is poor, you loose the effect of having some of the background show through.I was not happy with any of my completed mosiac pages. I was not expecting the mosaics to be fine works of art but they looked amateurish and lacked any vibrancy in color or texture. The beautifully packaged book yields an interesting and engrossing activity with results that do not justify the amount of time and care needed to render a pleasing completed picture.I really wanted to love this project book and did not, disappointing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exquisite in every way *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2018* This book is absolutely incredible. The instructions & comments from the author are very intelligent with great thought behind every sentence. The presentation of the book & supplies is very professional. And the pictures are all stunning. I’m just starting this craft and am so excited about this book.
