Review: wow! I am SO impressed! - I have thick, curly hair, and I usually air dry and then flat iron my hair but it was causing a lot of damage because I have to use high heat, even with all the heat protectors I use. I was really curious to see if this would be an alternative for me, and how it would compare to blow drying with a boar bristle brush. Well, I am blown away by the results! My hair is sleek, shiny, soft and very straight, and it looks a lot better than when I use my regular blow dryer and bristle brush, which really surprised me! I dont feel the need to use my flat iron afterwards. The results look awesome! I did air dry my hair until it was damp instead of wet and then applied my usual heat protectors to the damp hair before using the blow dryer brush: John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation creme and Loreal Heat Slayer spray. I then used the blowdryer brush on the *high* heat setting. Ive seen some reviewers saying to use medium heat. That is not sufficient for those of us with thick, curly or coarse hair. It is true the high heat does get HOT but thats what it takes. It's really fast and so convenient to just use one hand. I can't believe the price on this item because it's incredible. Definitely get it! Updating to add: I've now been using it over a year and the plastic bristles have been melted. I am throwing it out and replacing it. I will probably re buy it because it's cheap but I wanted to show you so you understand the durability isn't there.

**Q: How do you clean the brush?**
A: I run a thin comb down it collecting the hair at the bottom of the roller and pull it off. I use a needle to "pluck" any lint that has accumulated on the air vent.

**Q: Can this be used on short hair? About 3 to 4 inches?**
A: Yes, and it's very smooth and easy to turn for volume!

**Q: Can this be used on dry hair?**
A: I personally did once and I never did again . I didn’t like how it left it but other than that it works great on wet hair

**Q: I dry my hair upside down with me bending over. Will this product still straighten my hair? I’m also a little worried it will make my hair look poofy**
A: I dry my hair upside down too.  And this cuts my drying time in half.  I have a mix of curls and waves and mine comes pin straight. As far as poofy it depend on how you dry it… for super straight I dry it upside down until almost completely dry then I flip my head up and dry from the top down to the ends. I also use a tiny bit of hair oil to kill any frizzies … hope that helps

I was hesitant to buy this as most of the hair products I have bought has not lived up to the description but this thing is amazing! I have super thick medium length hair but sectioning my hair off it is powerful to tame even my thick hair, It leaves it smooth and shiny and cuts way down on time having to dry my hair then straighten, this does the job of both! It does take some getting use to as its pretty big but by the third use I had it figured out. It has several settings and the highest is hot which I use the most so Id recommend a good heat protectant. Portability wise its pretty bigbut its doable. The best part is the price! I actually had the name brand in my cart for $20 more and after the reading the reviews decided to try this one. So glad I did! Just buy it!
