**Q: what are dimensions of the the soundbar? how well does it handle the soundtrack of a 4k HD movie?**
A: Measures 47-1/4" x 5-3/4" x 2-1/4".  I don't believe I have tried watching a 4K HD movie with this soundbar. I did hear a movie played through the soundbar, and it has an impressive theater quality sound including the sound effects. I imagine it will play 4K HD movies equally well.
