It's so cute and unique looking. I like natural looking dog toys. As someone else said, it has an organic appeal to anyone that doesn't love all the goofy looking toys with all the bright colors and shiny textures/noise enhancers. Dog toys that don't cramp your style lol. If your dog is a total Tasmanian devil that destroys everything, this is not for you, nor does it claim to be lol. It will not withstand any jaws of life. And I could see how teeny tiny needle teeth on a puppy may unstring it. This is for reasonable playing dogs that just like something to toss around and mouth on a bit and carry around. Not that kind that mutilate stuff, there's special companies and sites for indestructible toys. They won't be 7.99 though. This is also not too hard. My dog weighs 3 lbs so some toys can just be far too harsh for her to have a good time with. Soft enough so it doesn't hurt me or her mouth and hard enough that she can munch on it a little.
