### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not magic, but it helps and is a good tool in your arsenal
*by M***R on May 28, 2012*

We have used this product now regularly for three dogs for at least six months. We are not the only ones that seem to seek this product out -- our local K-Mart is totally out of stock! Having three different dogs with various stages of dental issues gives me some perspective to comment that might be a bit broader than someone than just has one dog or one breed. Our experience is that it definitely is helpful even if used just on its own. With one dog, the teeth needed attention and we also brush and do scaling, and all the work does eventually pay off. Persistence and patience, making it a habit to do your dental work on the dog every several days, over the long term of months does eventually get rewarded -- and it is obvious to us that the dogs are in better health. We go thru about one bottle of this for our three dogs within about a month -- but that works out well as it has an activator that you mix into it right before you first use, and the instructions say the product will be best if used within a month of time. I can tell the difference from "the smell" of a new bottle as opposed to some left in an older bottle that I intentionally kept for several months. These days when it gets toward the end of life cycle we just use it up rather than keep -- do believe the new bottles have more potency and should be used up within the month time reference. We try to keep the unused portion out of direct sun and heat. The dogs with the better teeth, this product helps keep them from building up stains and plaque -- they will have the most dramatic and fast results like you see in the pictures. The dog with already problem teeth, some that are brown and encased with plaque -- we tried this on its own, it did help, but we felt it would take too long to only use this product, but when we combine that with brushing and scaling -- the combined effort definitely has made a dramatic impact. You can use common sense -- if you pay attention to each dog and then take action when you notice odor or other problems, it will be more effective than doing a process once, then not coming back to check and following up. If you have not done regular dental work on your dog, this product will not be able to get down to the gum level to do the scaling for you -- best you do the spray, the brushing and the scaling to get best overall results. Each dog has its own personality, just hold them, use good light, keep your tools and applicators clean (we do not allow any products to touch the dogs to keep them more sanitary), let the dog relax before and after and eventually it becomes a routine. The different between thinking our one dog might lose 6 or 7 teeth six months ago and today he has 3 front teeth that are loose from long term neglect is dramatic. Also, he used to have really bad breath to the point he would gag himself, today that is totally reversed. The second dog had marginal problems, all well addressed and his teeth are now optimal. Third dog was always lucky with teeth and she had just some stains and maintenance issues -- she has lucked out from us turning more attention to dental because of the one dog with so many problems -- so her teeth now are optimal plus. So bottom line, the product is definitely helpful, definitely better than doing nothing at all and if you do nothing more at least do this -- but I'd advise keeping some stock so you have fresh for each new month -- and using the bottle when most fresh and within a month of mixing. Also, believe that combining with brushing and scaling is the only real method that will keep the teeth optimum -- you will need to get down to the gum line or those teeth will get weak and loose no matter how nice the upper enamel is. We essentially start with the spray, then move to gentle brushing to get the gums in better condition. The gums need to be stressed and will bleed but over several sessions they become stronger and do not bleed -- and that can take some weeks to get them into better shape. We use sage and powdered rosemary leaves sprinkled in food before we start and during dental work to help with recovery -- a natural antibiotic treatment. Continue spraying while you build the gum strength. Important to keep them from water 30 mins before you spray and 30 mins after. Then, over time, turn to more intense brushing -- you need to get the gums strengthened. Then as the dog gets more used to the work, turn to scaling, it is more effort and probably more upsetting to the dog but very necessary -- eventually get down to the gum line, there is plaque to be removed at the gum line. We use human scalers (one that is battery operated and "ultrasonic" ) and also one they sell for dogs here on Amazon. Different ones work better for different dogs and locations, nothing we bought does not get put to use at some time or another -- just take your time and be patient and eventually the effort more than pays off for your pet's well being. We keep the tools soaked in light Hydrogen Perioxide between uses and between dogs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great for bad breath
*by Z***L on January 23, 2012*

I have a 3 year old dog that had the worse breath you can imagine. Her breath was so bad that I took her to the vet to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with her teeth. The vet gave me the OK and told me to go to Petsmart and try some of their bad breath line for dogs. I tried everything...for the past year I have been putting this stuff in her water...has some sort of mint in it and giving her dental chews specifically made for bad breath. The doggie day care that I take her to also has some sort of bad breath remedy that I also tried...and nothing worked! I was watching TV late night and saw the infomercial for this product. Since I had nothing to lose, I decided to check out the reviews on Amazon...and to my surprise it got some good reviews. So I decided to get some. Its been about 1 week and I already see a difference in her breath (I sprits twice a day). The plaque was not really the reason why I got this product so I am not really sure if it works for that, but definitely works for the bad breath. I recommend it for that purpose. My dog definitely doesn't like the taste, but I don't really care. Its a quick squirt to the left molars and one to the right and I am done. As another reviewer said...my dog eats cat poop and licks her genitals...she can handle two squirts a day.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Seems Like It's Working
*by C***G on February 10, 2012*

I bought this product back in November 2011 and since I had family visiting for over 2 weeks it was kind of off an on in application since we were out of town quite a bit. I will say however I did notice an improvement in his breath and it did seem like it was starting to work. I never did use it all - it says once you add the enzymes, try and use it in 30 days. I asked my vet about this and if it was safe and if it would work, she said yes. I have a small 5 lb pomeranian who is starting to have some kidney problems and she said these enzymes would not affect that condition. The problem he hates when I spray it in his mouth (which is not surprising) but can make application a challenge when he fights me and so I've tried it a few ways. I hold his little mouth open and give his teeth a sweeping spray - that seems to work. Sometimes I have to do it twice sometimes just once seems to do the trick. I'm definitely going to buy it again and this time use it EVERYDAY! His little teeth look horrid because he refuses to eat dry food but the vet said that putting him under for a teeth cleaning (which is what I was attempting to do and then found out about his kidneys) would be really bad for his kidney condition but that this product would be fine. I'll report back once I purchase and finish a whole bottle and let you know the condition of his teeth and how well it has worked - and from there I will adjust my rating accordingly. I have high hopes.
