It's also less greasy looking than something like a pomade. I know the product says "high shine" but I would say it has more of a medium shine which I prefer, especially once your hair is dry. It really does condition your hair like it says, my hair was very soft after a couple hours. The price for this is better than anything else I could find, usually a hair cream like this would be $20 and that's with less product included. I also like how this is in a tube which I find way more convenient and practical than a jar. Only thing I can think to complain about is the scent and it's not even bad, it still smells great but it's more like a minty medicinal scent if that makes sense. The product I used before is Cantu's "moisturizing Curl Activator Cream" and I liked the smell of that more but it doesn't hold very long. With that being said this product still smells good so it's definitely not a deal breaker for me.
