**Q: Can these be painted?**
A: I painted mine. It may take two coats but it looks great.

**Q: Will they damage wall when being removed from painted wall?**
A: They might. They are definitely meant to stick to the wall. Sort of like command strips only bigger. But in my humble opinion, I’d rather touch up a little paint then replace a hole in my drywall. Also, why would I want to take them off the wall? This seems like a semi-permanent solution to protecting your wall.

Easy to install, adhesive is nice and strong. They are a good size and worked well to cover up a small hole that was in the wall from a door lock that kept hitting drywall. It looks great on the wall too, I don't even notice it.
