We removed part of a wall between the living and dining room, which was not a major load point, but the ceiling sagged anyway because of the way it was framed. I used these in the attic with a framing structure to lift and support the ceiling below. In the photo you can see other turnbuckles, purchased at one of the Big Box stores, failed (with the connecting eyes distorted). The Jamiikury product holds fast and securely. I put a massive amount of pressure on these and there was zero distortion.
