It's bigger than I pictured - almost too big for the space I have it but it'll hold a lot. Just to give an example, I put a king-sized blanket, a full-sized blanket, some rolled up pillowcases, and a pair of slippers and there's room left over, so very roomy.It comes folded up but I don't find it wrinkly. It stands on its own since it's stiff so even if I didn't have much in it, it would stand so it's not floppy or flimsy. So the shape of it is fine with me. If I stuff it full it'll look better but I have it in a corner of my bedroom so it's fine as it is.I don't know how you clean these - I suppose maybe on delicate and air dry but I'll have to look at that. Maybe spot clean. If it came with directions on that I didn't see them.The price at time of this review $29.99, which is not bad considering everything costs more now but also it is well made and not cheap looking at all, so I don't mind paying what I consider a fair price for this basket.I can't see it as a laundry hamper unless you use it for smaller things - which I guess they have 'baby laundry hamper' so that makes sense. But I am going to use it for blankets and such in my bedroom.
