Not quite. These might be good for cards and papers and lightweight crafts but they are not strong enough for anything that has a bit of weight to it. I was able to mount a small basic calculator stuck to my fridge using them, which is nice, but heavier tools like heavy duty scissors or screwdrivers or pliers are simply too heavy. I was using it to keep my kitchen drawers closed. For some strange reason some of my kitchen drawers are not staying closed. For and easy fix I thought I would use magnets to help keep them closed. I used 3 squares at first with success. Then one day I noticed it wasn't working . So I added a 4th magnet. It too, after a few weeks, stopped working.
