I had seen it previously on shelves at parts houses but I could never bring myself to pay so much for "a set of bits". When this tool popped up on my desertcart feed I thought "Why not?" I had a lot of credits so I ordered the set. Well... This set of swages has since become the most used tool in my bag. I am never using couplings again! This set has reduced my soldering time by about ⅓. Plus my soldering looks a lot cleaner too as there is only one joint instead of two. If you're considering buying the Spin swage set but you're on the fence about whether or not it's worth the price, get it. It is well worth the money and then some. There is one thing I want to mention as a word of warning. Be aware that these bits are heat activated. The piece of copper you are swaging is going to get HOT. And it doesn't happen instantly so it can be easy to not notice at first. Not brazing level hot, but hot enough to burn your hand if you're not careful. It swaged and reemed the pipe well using a cordless drill. 7/8" pipe gave me a little trouble with my drill, but I keep a corded drill anyway. I did two 7/8" pipe on a used battery for testing purposes and it drained that battery, so keep that in mind. Makes swedging copper line almost effortless.
