I've had a heck of a time both finding where the heck they hid the battery on the mower, and finding the correct replacement battery. For those looking for the battery on this model, it's UNDER the blade deck/shroud. Tip the mower onto it's side, and look towards the bagger area. This is the battery cover. To undo it, there are a couple of screws on the outside of the mower where the bag sits. Undo these and the plastic housing can be pulled fee, along with the battery. There is an inline plug the the battery wires plug into. Disconnect the wires, but DO NOT toss that dead battery yet! You will need the wires from it to use the new battery. The new battery will arrive with just the little metal terminals shown. You will need to clip the wires from the dead battery at the terminals, strip the insulation back and solder the old wires onto the new battery. Put it back together in reverse order and you should be good to go. I have now been using this battery for about a month and a half, and it starts my mower up each time with no problems. Sorry if my review seems a bit wordy, but info for this mower is VERY difficult to find. Even Sears doesn't show the electric start parts on there website or in the owners manual.
