I am not describing it as in Oriental spicy, rather just a bit spicy. This is a good fragrance for the summer. When you first spray great but load and then the magic happens, it because nicely subtle but last enough that you will be able to smell your self and remember you put it on a couple of hours ago. It's a masculine scent for sure, while not being overwhelmingly "manly" (which I also call "burly," "sweaty,' and "funky," interchangeably). The impression is one of being on the beach on a light and breezy summer afternoon - ooohhh; kinda sexy, right?I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review; so as much as I really like the scents (and the sexy), I had to give 4 stars because there's a bit too much eau in this toilette ... You start out smelling divine and, voila! a few minutes later you're back to your old burly self. Which can be great if you're going to work in a cow factory, but not so great for your semi (be honest here!)-annual Date Night.THAT BEING SAID: everybody's skin is different, and pH levels have everything to do with how the skin holds fragrance. *Your* dermis could welcome these perfumed molecules gladly, while *mine* is busy playing "Marco Polo."
