I was very surprised by the low stars. Yes, when you first begin wearing them, they are a little stiff. I have found that after day 4, they feel amazing. They are by far the best quality flip flops I have ever owned. I highly recommend them. I read in one of the 1 stars comments, someone said they have no arch support. Seriously, if you're looking for arch support, no flip flops are for you. I live in Arizona where the temperatures are extremely hot in the summer months and I cannot feel the heat through these flip flops. My oldest pair (3 plus years old) still do not have my foot imprinted in them. I can safely say that I wear these everyday. The quality is impeccable. I have owned flip flops my entire life, I am 63 years old. I lived 58 years in San Diego at the beach ever chance I got. The longest life I got out of "other brand" flip flops before my foot embedded in to them and was injured by sharp objects was 3 whole months, then they promptly went in to the trash. Amazon has a 30 day return policy. Wear them, break them in. You get what you pay for.
