In my case, it fully covered the wound with some border to spare. Applying them is very straightforward. You just peel off the backing from the adhesive border and place it over the cleaned wound. There was less scabbing and more new skin forming, likely because the wound wasn’t drying out or getting traumatized with frequent dressing changes. I changed the dressing every 2 days, and each time removal was painless and the pad never stuck to the wound (no more yanking off scabs – hooray).
