Review: I finally got one today after the first two were damaged in transit. desertcart reimbursed me rather than sending a new one and of course the cost was higher when I ordered again. Hopefully the product is decent. Update: seems like a great hive. We are new to bee keeping but the hive went together well and appears to be well built.
Review: I have several of these hives in my bee yard and have been very pleased with the quality and attention of detail of these units. All the components are heavily waxed, including the hive bodies, which has helped them stand up to the weather very well. The dovetail joints a very precisely cut and fit together very tightly. The hive bodies are predrilled with countersunk holes for the included screws. All foundations are also heavily coated with wax which seems to be attractive to the bees as I have not had a problem with swarms abandoning these hives. All in all, I have been very pleased with these and strongly recommend them to you. I believe you will also be happy with them.

**Q: Missing a wax foundation, do i need to return the whole package and get another or can yall just send me the 1 i am missing**
A: Contact the company, rather than Amazon.  Guess you could also return the hive as defective.  The fast and easy solution would be to contact your local bee supply store (You could Google that) or buy additional foundation online - really, it's too cheap to worry about.

**Q: Is this a Langstoth type hive?**
A: Yes. This is 10-Frame 2-layer Bee Hive include 1 medium/super box and 1 deep box, Deep Brood Box  (16-1/4″ x 19-7/8″ x 9-5/8″)  Medium Super Box(16-1/4″ x 19-7/8″ x 6-5/8″) You can also add deep brood bee box or medium super bee box  on the hive according to your needs, so as to expand the beehive.

**Q: The listed height of the medium super is 5.51" That is the height of a swallow super. A medium would be 6.6". Is 5.51" correct height of the super?**

Got this on sale and can't beat the price. No warps in the boards. Everything went together easily. Has now been outside for almost a year and can't even tell. I do wish the joints were box joints instead of dovetail, but functionally no different. Will buy again!
