The welds look good and it fits perfectly on my G500.. Yeah, just take the bumper off. (Maybe its just the size of my manly hands) A couple of bloody knuckles, and about 10 minutes of installation time once the bumper was off, and VOILA! I towed a 3000 pound trailer, and the hitch didnt fall off and kill me going down the road.
