Product Description No Lip-sync Delay The Quartet's RF 2.4Ghz technology reduces the audio lag down to as low as 7ms and allows you and your whole party to experience no lip-sync delay, no matter how many devices are connected. Individual Volume Control Each pair of Quartet headphones is able to increase and decrease its own volume without affecting the volume levels of any other connected headphones. Clear Voice Mode This built-in mode reduces background noises and increases voice volumes, so you'll be sure to never miss a word. Before You Buy, Please Note That... The Quartet-Extra is a single pair of 2.4Ghz wireless headphones designed to be used with the Avantree Quartet bundle (sold separately). It will only work with the Quartet transmitter and will NOT work with other 2.4G transmitters.

Review: These DO work with the Duet - The two headsets that came with my Duet are both falling to pieces, so I noticed that this item (an extra headset for the Quartet) was 1] built differently and 2] ten quid cheaper than the extra headset for the Duet. However, the desertcart product description implied that these headphones would not work other systems. The Avantree website begs to differ. So I bought this item and it works - pairs OK with the Duet. I'm a fan of Avantree RF headsets because of their low latency - their audio quality is subjective, but is okay for my 84 year-old ears. I've never managed to overcome lip-sync problems with Bluetooth OTH phones. Not had them long, but they seem comfortable and I hope they last a bit longer than the poor build quality Duet ones.

The two headsets that came with my Duet are both falling to pieces, so I noticed that this item (an extra headset for the Quartet) was 1] built differently and 2] ten quid cheaper than the extra headset for the Duet. However, the Amazon product description implied that these headphones would not work other systems. The Avantree website begs to differ. So I bought this item and it works - pairs OK with the Duet. I'm a fan of Avantree RF headsets because of their low latency - their audio quality is subjective, but is okay for my 84 year-old ears. I've never managed to overcome lip-sync problems with Bluetooth OTH phones. Not had them long, but they seem comfortable and I hope they last a bit longer than the poor build quality Duet ones.
